HOIM Values

We value the gospel message in reaching out to the most vulnerable, victims of wars, ethnic conflicts, poverty and social injustice regardless of color, belief and gender in response to God’s design to redeem, reconcile and restore the world back to himself following the example of Jesus through a life of holiness, humility, and service both individually and corporately.

We value the local church as primary agent for social transformation, peace building and reconciliation. An integrated dimension to the Lord’s command and holistic mission approach of church are necessary for community transformation.

We value people and communities, staff, volunteers, beneficiary clients, donor and supporters as important actors in effecting positive results and social transformation.

We value partnerships to facilitate and promote a collaborative approach including community leaders at the grassroots’ level, local churches, non-governmental and government agencies to serve more effectively those who are the most vulnerable.
